Hello,
Welcome to Health Care Magic.
Thanks for writing.
I am Dr.Saddiq-ul-Abidin. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.
The following tips can help you:
1)Watch what you eat.Avoid alcohol liquids and foods which don't really agree with you.
2)Take foods with mild odour strong smelling foods can exacerbate symptoms.
3)Chose the place in the locomotive which is more stable, in a ship ,lower cabin in the middle of the ship is better than sitting in front.
4)Don't sit facing backwards to the direction of motion.
5)In car you better sit on the front seat.
6)It's better not to real or concentrate.
7)Opening a vent or source of fresh air helps.
8)Sit away from those who are prone to
motion sickness.
9) Put your favourite smell on a piece of cloth and keep smelling it , if you feel like having motion sickness.
10)The over-the-counter medication
meclizine (
Bonine, Antivert,
Dramamine) can be a very effective preventive measure for short trips or for mild cases of motion sickness. Your doctor also may choose to prescribe medications for longer trips or if you repeatedly develop severe motion sickness. One example of a prescription medication is a patch containing
scopolamine (Transderm-Scop) that often is effective in preventing motion sickness. Remember that scopolamine can cause
drowsiness and has other side effects, and its use should be discussed with your physician prior to your trip.
I hope this answered your question. If you have more queries I am happy to answer.Otherwise rate and close the discussion
Regrads.
