Suggest Procedure For Drinking GaviLyte Solution

My procedure is at 10:30 am. When is the last time I should take the GaviLyte solution. The Kaiser ( my insurance is with Kaiser Permanente) brochure says I should take the last glass 2 hours before the exam. But my drive and waiting time will be in the remaining 2 hours say between 8:30 and 10:30 so fear I will have bowel movements too close to the procedure and also during driving from home to the clinic. Therefore I request that you kindly give me an hour-by-hour solution-drinking-scheme before I have the procedure at 10:30 am. Thank you very much B. Yarar

Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Drive to get there at about 730 a.m. and drink it about 10 min before arrival and if they do not open that early go to a Starbucks nearby.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Matt Wachsman, Addiction Medicine Specialist
