I am having UTI. It started on 10th May, 2015 ( I had earlier also this problem last year ). I started taking Niftran 100 BDS for 21days along with Uri Spas fpr 10 days. UTI got controlled and I stopped Niftran. It agains started and I started feeling pain in Urination and fever from 3-4 days of stopping treatment. I gave my urine for culture -sensitivity and started taking Niftran BDS again . Urine report shows sensitivity to (1) Piperacillin + Tazobactum (2) Imipenum (3) Niftran wiith the comment that pathogen should be checked before starting anti biotic as MDR organisms are common in nosocomical settings and it may be present as pathogen, colonizer or as contaminant. I have been prescribed Farobact 200 BDS and Niftran 100 TDS for 12 days. I seek your expert advice before starting the treatment. Thanks and Regards, Anil Rastogi
