Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am suffering from pcod for last 1 year and doctor treated for 3 months now i just want to ask Doctor suggested me to take medicine for making eggs as 3 months before done foliculer monitoring so egg formation was not there. So need to ask is that safe to generate egg with medicine and concive after that and wont impact baby s health or growth And is this a normal process or medicated process to get pregnant.
Since you have a history of PCOD & have been treated for it, maintain hygiene & go for protected sex. Avoid multiple partners.
You should be ovulating to get pregnant. Formation of egg is important for conception to occur.
Infertility treatment includes follicular monitoring & there is no harm in it unless over stimulation s done. No, follicular monitoring has no ill effects on the baby's health.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
