Suggest Remedies For A Lump Under The Incision Post A Surgery
I had a mucocele surgery near the mental nerve area 4 months ago and I had so much pain. I went to so much oral surgeon and ENT to find out that I got traumatic neuroman. After searching for a specialist who is willing to help, I got the scar tissue removed. It has been a month now. There is a lump growing underneath and incision, a bubble growing nearby and also scar tissue is still growing and spreading to my lip. Is this normal healing or it s possibly another traumatic neuroma or it s something else?
I can understand your concern. Healing means return of tissues to normalcy. What you are experiencing is another growth under the incision. So this is not normal healing.
A lump can be anything and it is difficult to suggest whether it is traumatic neuroma or some other tumor or lesion.
I would advise you to visit the oral surgeon who treated you again and go for biopsy of the growth. It will analyze exactly what the exact diagnosis of the growth is. Based on the diagnosis, treatment can be decided.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
