Suggest Remedies For Anxiety And Mood Swings In A 10 Year Old Child

My daughter has been recently suffering from anxiety and has very bad mood swings. She is 10 years old and also just started her period. I m wondering what can be prescribed for these types of issue. I myself have ADD and have generalized anxiety. Could this be hereditary?
