Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

From what you have mentioned, it seems that you are suffering from panic disorder which is resulting in multiple panic attacks. It is condition which is amenable to treatment.

You should seek a psychiatric consultation for your problem and initiate treatment for it. Treatment with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors like sertraline or paroxetine would be helpful. Use of benzodiazepines like clonazepam for a short duration will help alleviate anxiety in the initial phase of the treatment. In addition, you can start exercising daily which will help you relax. You can also learn some relaxation exercises like deep breathing and progressive muscular relaxation which will be helpful.

Hope that answers your query. Best wishes.
