Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been using a razor to clean my heels when the skin gets thick. Well, they are sore to the point when I lay in the bed it s uncomfortable for me for my heels to be on the bed. I have a black spot on both heels in the same area and I wish them away. Ugly... Is there anything I can use to bring my color back to brown instead of looking black. I can shaved the dead skin away but it comes back. Help....
It can be plantar warts. As of now, you can salicylate ointment which can lyse the melanotic patches. If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and plan for cauterisation or cryosurgery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
