Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello Doctor, My wife is now 12 week pregnant. When she was 10 week pregnant suddenly she starts some bleeding. We meet with Dr. then she advice her Tab. Denvar 400mg for 7 days 2 tablet per day Tab. Microgest 100 for 30 days 2 tablet per day Tab Zifolet for 30 days 3 tablet per day After 7 days her bleeding stop. But now starts bleeding again. The amount of bleeding is less than Menstruation bleeding. Please advice me what I should do now ?
After taking into account the period of pregnancy it comes under the first trimester, so probable cause of bleeding per vaginum could be:
- threatened abortion:
- hydatidiform mole.
- missed abortion or ectopic pregnancy, so you must visit the nearest emergency hospital or Gynecology hospital for examination and investigation.
Till then all I can say is strict bed rest is necessary, since either it can be managed successfully with medicine, or if bleeding continues, one might go for evacuation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Munish Sood, Ayurveda Specialist
