General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms of your son seem to be related to an injury of the ear with the Q-tip.

I suggest using an over the counter teardrop to clean the area.

I also suggest using Tylenol for the pain.

If the symptoms continue, you can see the pediatrician for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
