Suggest Remedies For Bleeding Rashes Between The Buttocks

My wife is a stroke victim and must use a wheel chair,she developed red sore rash between her buttocks yesterday. The rash split open today and is bleeding. I put Neosporin and a bandage on and the bleeding is now under control. What else can I do to expedite the healing and avoid infection?.
