Suggest Remedies For Blockage In Urethral Opening Causing Painful Sex

i have a problem. I cant get anything into my vagina, i have tried everything the internet says but it does not work and it just really hurts. I checked with a mirror and it seems like something is blocking the hole. I also found out that my pee comes fro my vagina and not my utheral opening. (i have got my period) what should i do? i am really concerned.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms you have can be due to different causes like a growth of tissues in the area, cervical prolapse or infection but in your case, likely a fistula is causing this. To confirm the cause I suggest you visit a gynecologist because, a physical examination is needed along with your medical history. Your doctor might advise you some other imaging tests if needed. Once she is clear of the cause, she will guide you further with appropriate treatment option.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
