Hello Sir; I m married for two years but I can t conceive .my doctor suggested me for hsg test.my hsg test has done on 17 August and diagnosed that both my tube can t visualized and provisional diagnosis is that my both flopian tubes are blocked. Sir pls tell me that can I open my blocked tubes? Which is better treatment for reopen the tubes. Is ivf only option or any other?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I have read your description and understand your concern. Fallopian tubes has to be patent if you need to conceive naturally. If the tubes are blocked as in your case, fertilization will not take place as the sperms does not have a chance to meet ovum released from the ovaries. Although there are operations done to recanalize Fallopian tubes, the success rate seems to be very low. Hence, it would be better for you to plan and go for assisted technique namely Invitro-fertilization (IVF). Kindly consult Infertility Specialist in this regard for further evaluation and management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
