Suggest Remedies For Bowel Moments In A Coma Pateint

how do you get a patient in comma to pass stool, even with laxatives and antibiotics?
This is for my brother he is 19 years old, height 4.9 and his weight is 40kg. He is a genetic disorder of the spine, and is comma from pneumonia in the lungs and both lungs have collapsed, so he is on an artificial lung machine.

Well come to HCM
Thank for asking
I really appreciate your concern, if the patient is in comma then patient hardly pass the stool but nursing care managed that one with diaper and it is not the big deal, once the intake of solid food is not there then patient can not pass the normal stool, if the patient is in comma then no need to give laxative, bowel movement is just out of the question for the comatose patient, hope this information helps.
