Suggest Remedies For Bruise Covered With White Substance On Lips
Bruise, center of lip, bottom lip. has not healed and its been 8 days. I put Hydrogen peroxide on it and used cotton swab to clean up the liquid, and I noticed a white substance left behind, what is this substance? I coated the lip with Vaseline as it heals.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bruise covered with white substance on lips. Firstly it could be due to minor trauma to upper lip with the help of tooth and secondly it could be due to infection/ allergy to certain ingredient , side effects of certain medicine , chapped lip or sun burn.
Vitamin B and C is helpful to resolve it. Drink plenty of water and apply cold compresses on it , also apply lip balm with tea tree oil. Don't use lip cosmetics and corticosteroids for this. Apply ice cubes on lips. Use thick coat of petroleum jelly on lips.
Your symptoms will resolve in one week or Visit dermatologist once and get it completely examined by tests such as complete hemogram if it keeps on persisting.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
