Suggest Remedies For Bruise With Possible Knot Under Skin
Hi - I noticed a slight bruise on my 5 year old daughter's temple this morning (very slight, only visible in certain light and with flashlight). When I touched it, it felt like there could be a hard knot under the bruise. Should I be calling the doctor?

It seems from the history that your 5 year old daughter is having a bruise over temple with a knot.
This is because of collection of blood in the layers of skin called as hematoma.
It will resolve over 3-4 weeks. It it is painful, not resolving then it requires examination to rule out fracture to underlying bone.
