Suggest Remedies For Burning And Shooting Pain Throughout The Body

I m on medical leave with no pay and no longer have a health insurance. I don t qualify for any medical program from the state or the goverment. I have various medical conditions; Hypertension, migraine vertigo depression just to count some. I can t see my primary doctor, because they charge over 385 dollars for visit, although they are aware of my situation they will not weave my visit or work with me in a fee scale. Anyway at this time now I having new symptoms burning and shooting pain in all my body, including my hands and feet. Im afraid that this could be diabetic and Im very afraid that, I would not be able to see a physician to check my present situation. Can anyone on your team can suggest what I can do at this point, please thanks

Hi,

This is a hard situation to navigate through for you. Is diabetes already known for you? usually, diabetic neuropathy doesn't cause shooting pain in the extremities but burning sensations.

So, your description is not typical for diabetic neuropathy and in case diabetes is not already diagnosed this lowers the possibility. You might be able to afford a simple blood test called HbA1C which estimates how good was your blood sugar level for the last couple of months. If it was in the normal range then probably the pain in the extremities is not due to diabetes.
