Suggest Remedies For Burning Rashes Around The Groin Post Swimming
My nephew & daughter were swimming Saturday & both got a rash under their bathing suits in the groin area. My daughter s went away by the next day. My nephew has had zinc ointment on it & the redness went away, but now there are tiny scabs on the same area. It never itched on either one of them, but they both said it hurt & she said it burned. What could this be?

This sounds like tinea corporis--a fungal skin infection.
Lotrimin cream can be tried first--twice a day for two weeks--but if that doesn't help, he'll need precription ketoconazole cream
