Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
You seem to have a dual concern of acne and pigmentation/ spots.
Sure, you can visit the center. They have various types of peels available with them.
Salicylic acid chemical peel is quite good for active acne whereas
glycolic acid peel is good for acne spots/ pigmentation.
You can take a few sessions of chemical peeling at the center.
Peeling is an adjuvant to acne treatment. Therefore I also suggest you to simultaneouly continue with topical as well as Oral antiacne treatment beside peeling.
Acne can lead to complications like spots/ pigmentation and
acne scars therefore it is important to tackle acne aggressively and appropriately with Oral as well as topical treatments.
Topical treatment options include topical antiacne antibacterials like clindamycin/ benzoyl peroxide/
nadifloxacin which can be used once or twice daily for inflammatory acne on face.
Topical retinoids like adapalene gel is also helpful in acne on account of its antiinflammatory as well as comedolytic properties.
Topical retinoids also increases penetration of other topical medications like clindamycin/ benzoyl peroxide thus increasing there efficacy.
Besides topical treatment,
Oral antibiotics can be started e.g doxycycline,
minocycline, if your acne is inflammatory.
I suggest that you visit a
dermatologist for an exact assessment of the severity of acne and pigmentation/ spots and for the needful.
