Suggest Remedies For Chronic Nerve Damage

why are they taking away my soma. I have chronic nerve spine, neck, both hands and the DEA is cutting my off my soma, why? Not a opioid? It s the only medication that calms down my muscle spasms. My spasms are from nerve root damage non stop all the time except with my meds. What works as well on the muscles spasms like the soma? Not robaxian or bacalfin, tried them both, no help at all. nor anything else I can think of. Maybe flex earl would help. I have chronic nerve damage from c5-c6 from a chiropractor side way whip last! Than you Spasms

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to neuropathy.

For further assessment you may require nerve conduction studies after consultation.

You may require tablet Pregabalin after consultation.

Till then you can take tablet acetaminophen. Do regular blood sugar monitoring.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
