Suggest Remedies For Cold Clammy Skin When Blood Sugar Levels Are Low

I have cold clammy skin, My blood sugar is 177. could this be the cause. I took 2 tylenbol this morning, Otherwise, I feel fine, I have the air conditioner going as the temp outside is around 80. I sometimes get this when my blood sugar is low but that is not the case now. I take novilin 70/30 insulin--50 units this am. I also take potassium cl er 10meq x 2, lisinopril/hctz 20-25mg x2, levothyroxine 50 mcg and amitriptyline 50 mg at bedtime. I am warm natured and do not tolerate hot weather very well but with the air gong it is about 75 degrees in here. any ideas about what is causing this? Thank you, glenda

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello there

I understand your concern

As a diabetic you need to be aware of cardiac symptoms too. You need to be getting an EKG going just to rule out an impending cardiac event. Other than that I cannot think of anything else

Hope that helps
