Suggest Remedies For Constant Ear Ache And Bleeding Through Ear
my daughter has had an ear ache for two days, of course over the weekend when the doctor is not in. She has suffered from ear infections in the past, however this morning I noticed a slight bit of blood around her ear. Should I seek immediate medical attention at the ER or can it wait till MOnday morning?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain pain in ear and and bleeding with a previous history of ear infection can be due to a recurring episode of ear infection and you need to consult an Otolaryngologist and get her evaluated..
In case if there is infection he will advise you antibiotics like Amoxicillin and Metronidazole, anti-inflammatory medicines like Advil or Aleve, Antibiotic ear drops and steroid ear drops,,
He can also advise nasal decongestant sprays for relief from congestion..
Avoiding excessive water exposure to ear like in swimming, ear picking and exposure to loud sound should be done..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
