I have abdominal discomfort that like a cramp that get stuck and becomes very painful. It can happen at anytime and occurs on both sides in any position. Some positions can bring it like bend over when sitting or lending to either side. The pain is becoming more intense and I m staying stuck longer in that position. But it can come on just sitting still or laughing.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Many conditions might result in cramping abdominal pain. It includes ovarian cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, kidney stones etc.

I advice you to:
* Do an USG abdomen and pelvis to find out the underlying pathology.
* Blood & stool sample examination for bacterial & parasitic infections
* Antispasmodics to get relieved of pain
* Balanced diet & also avoid food that triggers your abdominal pain.
* Plenty of fluids intake

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon

Regards,
