Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Thank you, i am experiencing a dull pain the my lower right back which I had thought was muscle related, I go to the gym 3-5 days a week but appears to be more related toward the kidney. No problem urinating or blood in urine. No direct pain if touched or pushed in my lower back. It is not a lot of pain about a 1 or 2 on a scale of 10 where 10 is unbearable. It has been going on for about a week and appears to be slightly more noticeable now. Age 60 male, in good shape and goes to the gym 3-4 days a week, height 73 and weight 206 pounds.
Hello, It appears to be more of a muscular pain in your condition, since you gym so regularly at age 60. To be sure it's not bone related, I suggest you get an X ray done of your lower back. Taking workout supplements can affect your kidney. If you do take them, please keep a regular tab on your blood urea and creatinine. Hope I was helpful.
