Suggest Remedies For Elevated Potassium Levels In Blood
My name is Mike I am 59 years old and a diabetic, I also have anemia, and have chronic kidney disease. l just had a complete blood work done and my potassium level was a 6 I just was told this by my doctor and she said this is very bad for my heart what can I do to bring it down to a good number and what is a safe level. Thank you
Hello thank you for writing us here. I would suggest you to take lots of water and do some exercise so you sweat and the excess potassium is eliminated from your body. I won't suggest any unnecessary medications though because it would put stress on your kidneys. Just take healthy diet with low salt and exercise regularly. God bless you
Best regards, Dr Gunjan
