Suggest Remedies For Elimination Of Marijuana From The System Of Pregnant Woman

I m 31 weeks pregnant. I m seriously stressing about failing the drug test. I smoke marijuana occasionally since I have been pregnant but I was an everyday user before I found out I was pregnant. What is something safe for the baby that I could do to get the weed out of my system?

Hi,

We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, now the best thing you can do or what you did is to quit once and forever. Now drinking more fluids can help to flush it out. No antidote is needed at this moment.

If you had stopped it after discovering pregnancy by now it should be below the levels to be detected in urine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
