Suggest Remedies For Extreme Tinnitus Due To TMJ Disorder
thank you! Do you answer questions about tinnitus due to TMJ disorder? I did a naughty thing, ate fried chicken and a large cruncy baby greens salad, thus aggravating my jaw and triggering the worse case of ringing in the ears that I have experienced in two years! I have been very good about self care, but indeed relapsed. What to do for ringing and slight jaw pain, fullness of ear- left side.
Understanding your concern. As per your have symptoms of extreme tinnitus due to TMJ disorder, well tinnitus is not a condition itself but it's a symptom of an underlying condition.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult oral surgeon for proper diagnosis and to rule out causes like sinusitis and middle ear infection. Doctor may order certain tests like audiological test, rushing test, high and low pitched test. You should take ibuprofen and acetaminophen for pain. Do facial exercises like blow in blow out, stretching of muscles and whistling. Physical therapy is the best ailment for TMJ muscles relaxation.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
