Suggest Remedies For Gas And Flatulence Post Colon Surgery
hi ,my dad had scar tissue taken out of bowel 6 months later after colon cancer surgery where they took out 11 inches of colon. he has terrible gas and flatulence daily and eats vegetables, juices. etc. what does he need to do, this is hurting his stomach. he is 82

He should cut down eating gas forming substances like pulses. maintain good bowel movements daily with laxatives. avoid lactulose as it can cause more gas formation in the bowels.
take pills like gasex to see if that helps with this.
drink sufficient liquids and keep well hydrated.
