Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 4 year old daughter has been complaining of a headache since she woke up this morning. I gave her Motrin and that didn t help after an hour and a half, so I gave her Tylenol also. She slept for a few hours and seemed ok for about a half hour after she woke up, but she is crying again even after more meds. Should I try something else, or take her to the emergency room? We did also try a cool cloth over her eyes. No fever from what I can tell but I ve had her on medicine all day, so im not positive she wasn t running one before.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if it is the headache of 4 years old child then the cause of this headache may not be same as seen in adult but just to know the underlying cause of headache of 4 year child first CT brain is must with other test like x-ray chest, ECHO routine blood test, so better to see the pediatrician hope this information helps.
