Suggest Remedies For Hyper Pigmentation Of The Skin After Swimming
Hello Doctor, I have tanned badly after swimming in sun, it s been 8 months now, the colour has not changed at all . I did not use any before or after swimming creams . I have become 4 shades darker Is it permanent ??? Am worried, it s not changed a bit!!!
Excessive exposure to sunlight causes sunburn. Sunburns are caused by UV radiation rather than heat. Sunburns destroy skin, which controls the amount of heat our bodies retain or release. Advice 1. Apply a cream containing hydroquinone 2%, tretinoin 0.025%, and mometasone furoate 0.1% at bed time locally for two months. Do not rub while applying. Apply gently 2. Apply Spectraban sensitive sunscreen before going to sunlight. You can also use sunscreens which are used for cosmetic purpose preferably with Sun Protection Factor (SPF) more than 50 3. Try to avoid exposure to sunlight 4. Fully cover your skin with cloth whilst in sunlight 5. Wear hat and sun protection goggle while in sunlight Thanks
