Suggest Remedies For Hyper Pigmentation Of The Skin On The Forehead
Hi, I put tiger balm on my forehead a few days ago right above my eyebrow because I had a bit of acne there, but the next morning I woke up with what I read to be hyperpigmentation in the spot. It looks like a burn. It s darker than the rest of my skin. How long would it take for this to naturally fade away? And how can I speed up the process of it fading away? Thank you
As per your query you have hyperpigmentation on the skin of forehead which is because of the extreme sensitivity of your skin, allergic reaction and could be due to increased melanin production by melanocytes.
I would suggest you to:-
- Apply vitamin E oil at night.
- Apply azelaic acid cream twice a day as it is a natural extract of cereals.
- Apply aloe vera gel.
If the condition doesn't get better in one month then consult a dermatologist. The doctor may recommend procedure like micro needling or chemical peeling depending upon your condition.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Harry Maheshwari, Dentist
