Suggest Remedies For Hyperpigmented Skin On The Neck
Hello doctor seeing your response I feel you can provide me solution. I am 22 years old and I would be say suffering from hyperpigmentation from past 10 years . initially I would say I didnt realized .My neck and face was very dark and I was overweight. But now after working hard I have reduced weight and eating heck healthy my skin has improved.I then consulted a dermatologist she suggested kojivit plus , melacare plus , rejuglow , but used them I dont feel any change face has improved but neck is still dark from front and back. I changed my dermatologists he said peels and qswitch laser .But now iam confused should I go for them or not.
The condition is typical of something called keratoacanthosis. You have to lose extra weight as weight gain and hormonal imbalances is a predisposing factor. A thyroid function test is also needed because hypothyroidism is a causative factor. Consult a dermatologist and he will direct you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you all the best.
