Suggest Remedies For Inflammation And Burning Sensation In Rectum Post Bowel Movement
Hi. After I poop my rectum becomes inflamed. Not while I poop, but during the cleanup process. The next time I urinate if some urine dribbles down to my rectum it stings like OMG!! So I gently wipe my bottom to remove any urine and besides my rectum being sore, the toilet paper comes away with a tinge of blood. Any suggestions?
Possible fissure in ano may be the prime concern for inflammation and burning sensation in rectum post bowel movement. Most helpful measures for best recovery: - Plenty of liquids - High fiber diet - Bulk forming laxative as lactulose for loose stool - Avoid spices, non veg, junk foods - Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water) - Local application of xylocain (5%) ointment or jelly over anal part - Analgesic tablets as ibuprofen with paracetamol. Consult your surgeon as per the need.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
