Suggest Remedies For Irritating Dry Cough

Hi, for the last couple of weeks I have had a very irritating dry cough. It is uncontrollable and very strong and seems to start as a strong tickle deep down in my esophagus. I also have been finding myself very thirsty all the time, no matter how much I drink. I think this is just allergies, but I wanted to check on it. Thanks.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the given symptom are suggestive of allergic cough and it does not need any specific treatment it will be fine within few days, and if this long last then it may requires some investigations like x-ray chest and routine blood test just to rule out the infection for symptomatic relief of cough symptoms Dextromethorphan can be used in syrup form or in lozenges hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
