Suggest Remedies For Itchy, Dry And Rashy Hands Post Exposure To Levothyroxine

Hello Doctor , I am 25 years of age male and I have been working as a pharmacy technician for about 1 year and 2 months. Since becoming a Pharmacy tech. at first I never really showed much reaction to medications when it came to filling but for the last 8-9 months I noticed I started to get a bad reaction to levothyroxine of all strengths. My hands get a little rashy and it doesn t stay for long although it does dry my hands and they tend to get itchy after I do come in contact with the medication.

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with itchy dry sensations and rashes on your hands following exposure to levothyroxine I will suggest you have developed a allergic dermatitis

In view of this please use the following Tablet allergin phernegan hydrocortisone cream

If no improvement schedule an appointment with a dermatologist specialist in our clinic for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

I hope this helps Regards
