Suggest Remedies For Lightheadedness And Tingling Sensation In Arms And Hands

HI I have recently been involved in a road traffic accident December gone. I have been experiencing light headedness pins and needles in arms hands calfs and feet. I am taking medication for pins and needles, however I had a scan on my brain which showed a shadow on the front lobe. I do have memory problems. I want to know could the accident cause shadow on brain and memory problems?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Well, these are signs of certain neuropathic issues and this is most commonly seen in some metabolic disorders such as diabetes, of the most common causes of peripheral neuropathy, accounting for about 30% of cases. In diabetic neuropathy, tingling and other symptoms often first develop in both feet and go up the legs, followed by tingling and other symptoms that affect both hands and go up the arms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
