General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Cartilage loss can be of multiple factors as degenerative disorders, arthritis or else. Regeneration depends upon the extent of damage and cause of the same. There are specific therapeutic agents as chondroin sulfate and other as capsule, injections to be given intra articular surface with best proven results depending upon the individual case need and assessment. I would request you to discuss the same with your ortho surgeon in details to proceed for the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
