Suggest Remedies For Mild Pain In The Back Around The Ribs With Mild Wheezing

Having mild pain in back, around ribs on right side. Dr said i had bronchitis, but my cough is very mild and not really bringing anything up. No fever, not tired, no loss of appetite. This is making me nervous. The wheezy feeling in my chest area is worse with deep inhale, but when i go to bed, it seems to get better. when i get up in the morning, my chest is totally clear, but after a couple hours, everything is rattling. the dr said my lungs are clear, so i am confused.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Bronchitis is a likely diagnosis. Because you do not have a fever and the cough is not so bad, while you still feel energetic, it is very likely you are not having pneumonia (severe lung infection).

In this case, just follow the instructions of your doctor and make sure you do rest well. If you experience any worsening, you will need to let your doctor know.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
