Suggest Remedies For Nausea Caused By Antibiotics Taken For Athletes Foot

My husband has a badly infected case of athletes foot, with swelling and redness to the ankle. His doctor prescribed flucoxacillin but he has taken it with food, not before, for two days. He is now very nauseous and feels ill. He is generally extremely fit and healthy.

Hi thanks for asking question.

According to your history you have drug induce simple gastritis if associated abdominal pain or you have nausea as side effect of drug.

For nausea you can take domperidone or ondensetrone like drug...

For gastritis omeprazole taken along with antibiotic..

Meanwhile take care not to take excess spicy food or fatty food.

Avoid smoking and alcohol...

Avoid excess tea for few days.

Avoid excess use of analgesic..
