Suggest Remedies For Pain And Soreness In The Legs

hello, I currently take synthroid. I am almost 70 and have taken ib s 200 mg for aches. What can I take for aches and soreness that is not ib s since now you run the risk of heart attacks. I also have slightly high blood pressure, but not on any medicine for it.

Hi,

You are right that Ibuprofen, along with all NSAID anti-inflammatories, slightly increase your risk of heart disease. However, you are taking a low dose of Ibuprofen, and especially if you only take it intermittently, I would expect the increase in risk is very small. However, if Tylenol can control your pain, it would be a better choice with fewer side effects than Ibuprofen.
