Generally cavity restoration is a painless procedure but if the caries is extended to your pulp chamber than dentist can do pulpotomy or in severe condition root canal treatment this treatments are performed under local anesthesia you will not feel any pain during and after procedure so don't fear meet your dentist and get it restored.

Dentist Dr. Dipti Singh's  Response
Hello, Thank you for consulting with HCM.
No there is no medication or ointment , which can help in filling your cavity. You have to visit your dentist to get it treated , as if it will not get treated the cavity will extend till apex and then there will severe pain.
Hope it will help you.
