Suggest Remedies For Painful And Swollen Acne On Right Eyebrow
Hi Doctor, I am having a painful acne on my right eyebrow surrounded by swelling. It getting bigger and almost i cant open eyes. I was having throat infection and fever while pimple is appeared. i took amoxilin also. now throat infection is reduced. but acne and swelling on eyebrow still on. what should i do?
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM If the acne over increases in size, it may rather suggest an infection. Some skin infections may start as a small acne and increase in size or an acne may get infected.I will suggest you try the following: -Avoid touching it -Press any pus out if any -Take a pain/anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen If the pain pain and swelling persist, you see the Doctor to judge the need for a penicillin group of antibiotics like cloxacillin since most skin bacteria infection and abscesses respond to this molecule. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
