Suggest Remedies For Painful Bumps On The Knees Post An Injury

Hello, playing soccer yesterday I got kicked in the shin. I have bumps just under both knees but after getting kicked, one bump is much more prominent. Also, it is painful to press on. Walking is difficult and bending my knee without assistance is tough.

Hello,

Rest, ice, compression, and elevation is good for knee pain caused by a minor injury.

Give your knee some rest, apply ice to reduce swelling, wear a compressive bandage, and keep your knee elevated.

You can use Ibuprofen and if you don't feel better take an appointment with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
