Suggest Remedies For Painful Thumb Joints With Impaired Movement Post Injury

approx ten months ago I met with a small accident where my thumb got hit to a pole. after 3 to 4 days I experienced pain in joint area in thumb. I am still unable to lift weight, experience minor to heavy pain while doing tense movements rest, minor movement work can be done easily. I went to orthopedic doctor, he said i have swelling in thumb joint area and it will be cured automatically but ten months passed i am still experiencing pain. Please help

Hello.
You need an MRI of the thumb to see exactly what the problem is here.
You may have an injured tendon or an avlusion fracture involving a thumb bone and the tendon attached and you may need surgical repair for this
