Hello dear, Peripheral arterial disease is due to the impregmentation of plaques in the arterial walls , leading to diminished flow of blood through the arteries and there by the body parts have scanty blood supply. This leads to severe pain ( Intermittant claudications), Absence or low pulsations, scarce hair growth, and feeling of coldness in the affected limb.
Tips. : Quit smoking , if your a smoker. This is a major risk factor of P.A.D . Avoid oily , deep fried and junk food. Avoid boozing. Eat properly cooked , hot and fresh food. Drink plenty of water.
avoid walking for long distance. Sit and do meditation. This will keep you relaxed. Get your arterial doppler done and take medications as advised by your consultant.
Hope I have answered your question.
