Suggest Remedies For Peroneal Tendonitis

I completed pt for peroneal tendonitis in June and now my ankle feels like it did before pt. Is there anything else I can do to speed up recovery? I have kids and don t have time to exercise daily and I don t want to drag this out any longer. I just need a much faster way to get rid of it.

Hello,

For tendon inflammation, you can be prescribed anti-inflammatory drug for five days like ibuprofen.

Avoid strenuous activities in that part.

If no recovery in 5 days than local part x-ray should be done for further work up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
