Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent cough, breathing problems and indigestion which seems to be due to persistence of infection in body.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline rinses and take rest. You should take mast cell stabilizers to prevent from infection. Start with course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. Avoid taking cold beverages. You should avoid hot, sharp and spicy foods.
I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist without any delay . Doctor may order blood test , throat swab test along with complete examination. You should get paranasal sinus X-ray done. Go for complete blood count.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
