Hello,

Betacap TR is a non-selective beta-blocker medicine that is used for the lowering of high blood pressure and relieving chest pain caused due to reduced blood flow to the heart. It is also used for treating complications associated with heart, blood vessels, and other organs. Side effects for betacap are dizziness, diarrhea, difficulty in breathing, skin blistering, swelling of face, lips, eyelids, tongue, hands and feet, irregular heartbeat, weight gain, hypotension, chest pain and discomfort. We use betacap for angina pectoris, migraine headache prevention, hypertension, heart attack, essential tremor, high heart rate...You should not use it you have asthma, decrease in heart rate, and hyportension. Migraine headache treatment is aimed at stopping symptoms and preventing a future attack. There is pain-relieving medication and preventive medication. For pain reliever medicine such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, others) or aspirin. Some patient need opoid and anti nausea drugs. For preventive medications, you can use beta-blocker but if your blood pressure is low you can decrease the dose from 40mg to 20mg. If still contraindication you also antidepressants such Amitriptyline, anti-seizure drugs, others. You should discuss with your doctor what is the best choice for your condition.

Lifestyle and home remedies: try relaxation techniques, don't sleep too much or too little. Set the sleep and wake schedule daily, try to eat meals at the same time every day, drink plenty of fluids, exercise regularly, continue recording in your headache diary even after you see your doctor. It will help you learn more about what triggers your migraines and what treatment is most effective.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
