Suggest Remedies For Persistent Pain In Lower Back, Hips And Legs

constant pain in lower back, bilateral hips and bilateral legs. Sometimes fluctuates between one hip or the other or one leg or the other. Worse at night when I go to bed and worse at times with any kind of pressure on these areas. Difficulty walking in the morning when I get up. Do take thyroid medicine and diagnosed with some mild osteoarthritis in right hip a couple of years ago.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
