Suggest Remedies For Persistent Sharp Pain In The Chest With Cough

I was diagnosed with pneumonia over thanksgiving I was on a z pack for five days then five days after that I was having a sharp pain in my chest and was given prednisone which I just finished. Yes still have s bad cough and pain in my chest when I cough although everyday gets slightly better I am concerned about flying over the holidays. Is it safe?

Hello,

Most probably it will be costochondritis.

As of now you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
